Turramurra Micro Cement Floor & Staircase

This residential project in Turramurra, Sydney involved the application of a seamless microcement finish across the main floor areas and staircase, creating a continuous architectural finish throughout the home.

The objective was to achieve the natural character and movement of concrete without the visual interruption of traditional flooring joints. The microcement was hand applied in multiple layers, allowing subtle variation and texture to develop across the surface while maintaining a clean, refined appearance.

Particular attention was given to the staircase, with the microcement carefully applied across the treads, risers and edges to create a seamless transition between the stairs and surrounding floors.

Once completed, the surfaces were protected with a durable clear sealer designed to preserve the natural appearance of the microcement while providing a practical finish suitable for everyday residential use.

The finished project delivers a modern, understated concrete aesthetic that complements the architecture of the home and demonstrates how microcement can be used across both floors and detailed architectural elements.
