Bankstown Commercial Carpet Glue Removal & Floor Preparation

This commercial make-good project in Bankstown, Sydney involved the mechanical preparation of approximately 700 m² of concrete flooring following the removal of the previous tenant’s carpet.

Working for the builder responsible for the end-of-lease make-good, Finesse Grind & Polish was engaged to remove the remaining carpet adhesive and contaminants from the concrete slab and leave the floor clean and mechanically prepared.

Using industrial concrete grinding equipment paired with HEPA dust extraction, the entire 700 m² floor area was systematically ground to remove stubborn carpet glue residue and provide a clean, consistent concrete surface.

Edge grinding and detailed preparation were completed throughout the tenancy to ensure adhesive was removed right through to walls, columns and perimeter areas.

The project was completed efficiently within the builder’s programme, leaving the slab ready for the next stage of the tenancy and demonstrating our capability to undertake large-scale commercial concrete grinding and floor preparation projects across Sydney.
